The Kentucky Communication Association promotes (and annually recognizes) effective teaching, research and practice in the artistic, humanistic, and scientific principles of speech communication.
Please submit officer nominations for:
SECOND VICE-PRESIDENT
It shall be the Second VP's duty to work with, research and compile an updated mass mailing list comprising potentially any and all students and professionals in the communication arts in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and to provide that list to the First VP and the Board of Trustees by March 31 of the year following his or her election to this position. It shall also be the duty of this officer to work at recruiting new members for this association and to serve on the site selection committee. The Second VP shall ascend to the office of First VP at the end of his or her term and serve in that new capacity for the following year.
SECRETARY
The secretary shall keep minutes of all the proceedings of the Association and make a proper record of the same, which shall be attested by the Secretary, including current membership lists. The Secretary shall keep such records and generally perform such duties as may be required.
AT-LARGE MEMBER (EAST)
At-large members serve one year and represent the membership from the eastern region on the executive committee.
AT-LARGE MEMBER (WEST)
At-large members serve one year and represent the membership from the western region on the executive committee.
